I noticed that as well, it did not bother me as much as the gap though, because dust could eventually harm the inner components. Actually, I wouldn't even mind the gap that much as long as the unit functioned properly. It just bothers me that some people have encountered no problems whatsoever. How could this be if the symptoms are supposed to be from a software bug. It does not make any sense... shouldn't everyone who has a MM be experiencing what I am experincing?
