Man I've been behind apparently my email addy bounced for some reason.. anyhow... I think Live4 will solve all of my problems.. gonna use that w/ a midi controller to control loops and whatnot that trigger the gear.. I think that way I will have the control Live gives me, yet still having things synthesized on the fly.
