well, it's been discussed quite a bit in here.  so you might want to 
search the
archives for some more elaborations on it.  but briefly, the two are 
very different
in terms of drums. the MD can do A LOT more than the MnM can.  BUT the 
MnM
drums are still great, very usable and highly tweakable.  basically, 
here's my
take on it - if you're missing great drums, go for the MD.  if you're 
happy with
your drums for now, would like a basic extension of them and would 
really
enjoy the MnM in your sound at this time, then go for the MnM.

in short, nothing's a substitute for the MD's drums, but the MnM gives 
you
a taste of them while offering amazing synth sounds as well.
