Hi-
Got my Machinedrum about a month ago. The lack of latency problems blows
me away! I just wanted to share this with you.

Hi All: MD, Waldorf Q, Bass Station. I use Procussion for occasional
effects, and Drum Station for 909 hats. I'm sure that there's a way to do
good 909 hats with MD, but I haven't found it yet. Anybody know how to do
it? - thanks - Jim

Hi Jim

The MD is in my opinion not the ideal instrument to replicate other
instruments - though it's very good at making its own :-). The
closest I've gotten (not close) to a 909 HH is with the EFM HH or EFM
CY. Crank up the feedback control and adjust the decay.

Btw, you should join our monthly contest! Check out the rules at:

20Contest/

Regards
Nils

Hi Nils:
Thanks for the tip. To my ears, both the EFM HH and EFM CY sound
close. If I layer each of them with GND NS it sounds even better. Set the
GND NS decay to fit the music's tempo, and use EFM HH and EFM CY mostly for
the attack.

Jim
