Elektron Musical Instruments

I am looking for a way to synthetise a realistic snappy TR-808 snare 
sound with the MD. I have succeded in making the base tone but I fail 
making the noise itself : too much bright, and frequency too high. I 
would like to achieve this using only one machine (no layer). Any 
ideas ?

I guess the 808-snare is very easy (debends how accurate you want to 
bee...). I feel the trx-snare is almoust exaclty like 808-snare. See
