OT: Little Sound DJ

Rather off topic but I thought this might interest you:

I recieved my little sound DJ cartridge about two days ago. For those that
don't know, this is a music package for the nintendo game boy platform. And
a really great one at that. The game boy sound chip isn't as expressive as
the sid of course but it's really a blast sequencing bleeps and farty drum
sounds in the subway or on the bus..have a look at www.littlesounddj.com if
interested. No affiliations. (oh, except the guy who makes it is a friend of
mine. :D)

Elektron content: I've had my Sid for 2 years now. And I still love it. :)

Has anyone here heard of Nanoloop?? It is similar to the app described
above. It makes use of the gameboy's 8-bit sound chip. The sound of the
"boy's" chip is actually not that far from the sid's. Of course there are
some major differences, but all in all they're both 8-bit fart boxes. I
found that the gameboy's chip is really good for grainy ring modulated drum
sounds.

I've got a nanoloop. It's excellent for making nice little loops when your
on the bus :-)
