Yes, my first one, which I returned, had frequent lockups. My current
one occasionally, well twice now in two months, has locked up with a
high-pitched 'eeeeeeee' sound. Perhaps Elektron is working on these
kinds of problems.

MD and PC sequencer

2005-01-16 by digitale_1

Hi,

I work with my MD triggered by my sequencer (with notes).
I work in this way to be able to work with the right pattern at the
right moment in my song.
Though there is a problem, normaly (with my MD in standalone) my
snare sound lasts til next hit on the next pattern loop. With my
sequencer that triggers the pattern, the snare sound lasts only until
the start of the next pattern.
Any of you know of solution? Or a better way to work with and
external sequencer?
I have the latest OS. I tried start and queue functions in the map
editor but these seem not the right choices.

Thanks for you help

Moreno

I may be wrong but it sounds like you should use the gate in the midi
map editor. You then would trigger the pattern with a note and hold
the note for the duration of the pattern you want.

Yeh i was in gate mode in the midi map editor.
But i found out something else. I really should update my manual more
often. Heh! Inside the manual for OS1.10 i didn't find this info.
I found out in manual 1.12 that in Song mode the MD recognizes MIDI
pointer position.
Still not really effiscient during composition as it's more esay to
drag/drop the pattern on a screen than to go in the menus of the MD.

Thanks for teh reply anyway! I appreciate =:)
