thanks for the info.
I got a couple more questions...
in the nanoloop web page it says that the sound of a gameboy classic is
considered to be much better than the color one... is this true?
also is the web page the only place to buy the nanoloop?

thanks,

Eitan Teomi

Yeah, the Gameboy Classic is a bit more 'rounded' & warmer in sound
to the newer color Gameboys but don't let that be a deciding factor. If you
can appreciate vid game sounds / Sid / bleep blip stuff then you'll have to
love the Nanoloop for the simple fact that it's actually video game making
music for you. =)

hey,

To the best of my knowledge you can only get the
nanoloop directly from Mr. Wittchow i.e. through
the nanoloop site. You can order with complete
confidence, he is a very nice guy, very professional,
and fast to boot. I currently have a bum nanoloop cart
but he is sending out a fresh one same day, tommorrow.
I would defintly advise doing business with him. BTW,
there is also an option for ordering the Nanoloop with
cash if a credit card is an issue (as it was with me).

I hope I have been of some assistance,
Mark Platt

P.S. Just to not give you the wrong idea about his
cartridges there have only been 4 cartridges that have
been bad so far. One was damaged real bad in shipping
and the other three appeared to be working fine when
he got them back. So take from that what you will.

Well a friend of mine, Future-Eater, uses nanoloop (and the sidstation)
extensively. Check his mp3.com page ... http://www.mp3.com/future-eater/
There's some great tracks on there.

I also use both, but I don't have any tracks online yet that really
showcase nanoloop.

You guys might also be interested to know about LITTLE SOUND DJ, a new
tracker / synth for Gameboy. http://www.littlesounddj.com/

All these Gameboy tools compliment the sid sound really well! Definitely
not toys, as some have suggested.
