Joystick search has ended (at least for me)...

Joystick search has ended (at least for me)...

2005-02-14 by astronout

In my quest to find a MIDI Joystick for the SFX60, I came across the
'STC-1000':

http://www.thinkmig.com/stcpics.html

MIDI trigger for instruments created by you
	 	 1 - 9 zone drum pad
	 	 Vertical or Horizontal Faders
	 	 X-Y-Z Controller
	 	 Keyboard expression / Nuance controller
	 	 DJ expression / Nuance controller
	 	 MIDI lighting controller
	 	 Sequencer transport controller
	 	Peripheral DSP controller

Perfect! I'm taking one home this evening to try it out on my MnM.
I'll let ya'll know how it works...

Looks like Q2 '05.. for OSX support.

Yes. Anticipated date for a Mac version was end of Q1 2004.
Unfortunately we are way behind schedule on this and the new date for
this is Q2 2005. Please accept our apologies for the delay but
understand that we are totally committed to a MAC version. In the
meantime, check out the stc1000 community web site (www.stc1000.com)
for information on some MAX/MSP code that will be available much sooner
and might help Mac users in the interim.
