Inside a SidStation Ninja

Inside a SidStation Ninja

2005-03-04 by enapa

I was traveling vit my Ninja and the rotary encoder was disatached
when i got home, so i opened the station.... some funny things was
written on the curcuitbord. I made a photoalbum with some nice pics,
good for desktop!

*Where the electricity enters the sidstation:
power ultraman go!go!go! earth gogillra

*At a diod:
pointless

*At some component:
danger

Really funny to find this, is this the same in all SidStations?

Regards/enapa

my first Sid had problems where the PSU attached so I cracked it open
to see
if I could repair (what I assumed was) a bad solder joint. I couldn't,
but I do recall
there being some funny stuff inside.  the MD also has some cool stuff;
for example,
the Elektron logo is etched VERY large on the back of the interface
circuit board.
cool stuff. they like to have fun, it seems :-)

In your second photo I didn't see anything. I didn't see the "danger".
