Nice a TB-303, TR-909, SH-101, and a Monomachine. Got to love em all. I got a friend that wants to sell me his SH-101. I just don't know if I want to pick it up... I have a Pro-One, Pulse+, and a Jupiter 6. Would there be any benifit of having a SH-101 in my rig? I had a lot of fun using his, but I would rather have a TB-303, or a Dave Smith Poly Evolver KB. Not to mention I am running low on space, and it would require another MIDI to CV converter. (I could always pick up another Pulse+, and stack them) What would be a good addition to my setup?!? I just got a 101 and I like it, even though it's a bit crashy, I have to open it up and sort that out. It reminds me a bit of a bass that¹s a cross between a 303 and a MS-20. I am looking at the Revolution, as a 303 and a midi/cv converter/sequencer. And maybe a JoMoX air or Xbase.

Awesome anoter person that knows about the Revolution... I have heard the demos, and love it as well.. I asked on vintagesynth.com a while back if anyone knew the diff between that and the 777, but not a single person got back to me. Does the Revolution have full MIDI support? What is the big difference between that and the 777? --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, Andy Tarpinian <evildead@n...> wrote: > I just got a 101 and I like it, even though it's a bit crashy, I have to > open it up and sort that out. What is the big difference > between that and the 777? From what I have heard the 777 is "sonically superior". I think this just means that the Rev is more of a focus on just the 303 sound. The only complaint/comment I have heard sound wise from people is the parameters go a bit over what the 303 could do. The revolution has the really nice new sequencer over the 777. I'm pretty sure it has full midi, the cv to midi converter as well. The analog heads on Analog Heaven gave it an all around thumbs up, esp the sequencer, when I asked about it. One person said one of his favorite things to do with the Rev is sequence his SH-101.
