FR Revolution demo track, with MD and Sidstation

Just to spam, and also throw up some sounds of the Revolution in
action, I figured I'd cross post this from the future retro list :D

little number I did up - all acid lines courtesy of the Future Retro
Revolution,
drums are
Machinedrum, Stylus RMX and Logic's Ultrabeat, additional bass by
Waldorf XTK, some hot pad action by the sidstation, and lot's of
ohmforce for post processing.

and yes, I did run the Revolution through the Sherman filterbank on
one pass ;)
so watch
those subs.

RE: [elektron] MM upgrade proposals

2005-04-24 by Martin Vít

Hello Elektron fellows,

After about 8 months of exploring Monomachine I realized there are two
things I am missing. In my opinion, these can be upgraded in a new OS while
maintaining the ease of control we all love MM for. Before I (or anyone
else) proposes these (and/or any other upgrades) to Elektron guys, I want to
make sure that I have not missed any easier solution of the problems.

1.
External machines controlled by MM via MIDI have a certain (small but
annoying) lag. This can be easily eliminated by moving the particular tracks
after recording but what to do with live performance?

My solution: every track could have a lag correction parameter.

Any easier solution?

2.
After working with 16/16 scale (one bar), changing to 64/64 (four bars)
copies the first page of all tracks automatically. But then pages have to be
copied separatelly for individual tracks. It would save some time if pages
could be copied in all tracks (another item of the super copy function).

Am I too lazy, are my fingers too slow or do you think this would make amy
sense?

Thanks for your help.

With regards

Martin

I like this idea! I don't know if an forthcoming OS updates will be
feature upgrades,
though; they may just be bug fixes since there are still a few nasty
ones in there.
