Elektron Musical Instruments

Hello ,

Just got into the monomachine user's manual and it's talking about 
preset patches from each machine but when i'm starting a track with 
the mono and selecting for example a sid to write a track i always 
have to start with a basic sid sound !!

Is there really patches or presets into each machines and if they are 
how can i use them ???

I don't recall seeing this in the manual.  Could you tell us what page 
your looking at?  AFAIK, you always start with default settings when 
you load a new Machine.

The preset patches are the ones in the preset banks, if you want to
use them you have to copy them from a preset bank to your own bank,
you can copy single machines. Remember to save your bank every time
when searching for new machines by loading other banks. There is no
way to dail between individual patches for one machine. We asked for
it in the beta stage, but the software structure won't allow it. 

It would be nice to have a patch selection feature, but on the other
end you're somewhat forced to make your own. My advice is to start
tweaking with complete preset banks instead of searching the "right"
sound(s), that's what it's all about.

Thank you ronald ,this was exactly what i wanted to know,it's just 
that i'm not used to the mono's way of working which is a bit new 
for me but it's a question of time now !!!!
