So, I've been loving the recent edition of a MD to my studio -- guess it
came in the mail during the last week of December.  It's always worked
flawlessly...not even a hiccup.  Since spending enough time with the MD to
realize the power of parameter locks, it has added a layer of depth to my
work that I don't think could easily be replaced.

That being said, I'm very angry at my MD right now.  My first live gig in 6
months...wasn't even a real gig, just playing a set between two DJ's...was
supposed to provide a chiller, ambient vibe.  I had the Voyager set-up and
switched on the MD -- and it stuck on the start-up screen, with the
version...1.2.1 (I think ??) on the lower right side.  It then booted up,
only to restart after about 5 seconds and continued this cycle.

This may seem like a silly question, but how much do your power cables move
when connected to the MD?  That's my first guess....that it has a bad
connection b/c something's loose.  The only thing that makes me think
otherwise is that the MD never turned off and back on, rather is just
restarted over and over.  I was very embarrassed.

Luckily, the VJ also performed using Live, so he loaded up some beats and I
improvised for an hour with the Voyager.  We had a DJ scratch-in for a bit,
and I think it came off without people knowing something wasn't as planned.
So, that's good.  But, the problem remains with the MD.

Any thoughts or experiences with such a problem?
