Elektron Musical Instruments

hello, i'm going to buy a machinedrum with serial : G20800642-45
can someone tell me how old this machine is (by comparing it with it's own)
and could it have any problems from
 the past that are solved in later versions ?.

As I understand this isn't the early MD's, since I have one of them 
and they start with letter A. I guess nobody knows better than 
Elektron, so better to post this to them (note that they are under 
heavy preassure for uw-upgrades).
