Hi,
I was wondering if the samples transfered to the md remain in its
memory even after a 
shutdown + reboot.
Or does one have to load them each time you switch on the md ?

nope they stay in there after a reboot.  you get a message saying
something like "loading DSP memory" when you boot up.
