Elektron Musical Instruments

Ok, so last night I updated my monomachine to 1.05c (incrementally too - went from 1.04 
to 1.05b to 1.05c)

spent a good amount of time with it last night, put together several patterns, hooked up a 
keyboard and did some step entry sequencing (whee!)

all seemed well, until today when I came home, turned it on, and hit some buttons only to 
have some weird screen glitches happen:

I then did a full factory reset, and re-loaded 1.05b. same problem.

soft reset, same problem.

I just reloaded 1.04 and the problem is there too!

the glitches appear to happen mainly on the bottom left corner, up through the stop/
record icon section under the BPM readout. It doesn't appear to cause any problems with 
audio, but it's a bit unnerving. Any suggestions? I'm about to reload 5c and do a full 
initialization again.

to add bad to bad - now it's crashing: it seems to freeze the LED's
and LCD, so the button functions appear to work, but no change in any
of the status LED's or display. I can still work the transport, etc.

Hardware test comes out OK, I've done more resets than I can count....

I know elektron is busy with userwave updates (I've sent two support
requests in) so if ANYONE has any idea how to get out of this loop of
glitch and crash, I would love the advice!

I have a similar problem with my (now) unusable machinedrum. No luck so far. I bought a 
power supply for 45 from them on their advice to make sure it's good, but it's just been a 
waste of money.
