I haven't used the MD (YET) for DnB as I just got it recently, but I do like DnB and plan on using the MD to make some more. depends on what you define as d'n'b :-) right now I especially enjoy my MD-UW in combination with the "Lucifer 2" plugin: http://www.devine-machine.com/documents/40.html breaking bones n stuff. Nice... I just have a regular old MD, I use Kontakt for sampling.... Too bad that plugin isnt in AU format as well, looks like fun.... The md is great for kicks and snares, it REALLY cuts nicley through a mix.... I've had it for a year and a half now, i've never come close to another drum that sounds as good, just wish there was velocity sensitive parameters other than volume! --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, nitrada <me@...> wrote:

Hi! I read the archives today. This thread fired off an attempt to create some dnb music myself. I you like, check out the result here: http://home.wanadoo.nl/ariannediemel/dnb%20hl%202.mp3 It's nothing special, just a MD pattern looping and Ion, Virus, mQ and NM playing a few notes. Bye! I forgot to mention the fact that my MD has recently been officially pimped by UW Customs...:)

Nicley done... The UW is definatley useful for this purpose... I've been trying to get a good "shaker" sound out of the MD for a while, but its pretty tough, sampling one would be tight. Making drum loops that cut like a knife, however, is definatley real fun, like the sounds of Roni Size and the way his drums sounded back in the 90's --- In elektron-users@yahoogroups.com, "feroxnl" <djdjo000@...> wrote:
