Turbo Midi Interface?

Turbo Midi Interface?

2006-04-23 by djdjo000

Hi!

I've been checking out the elektron site for a few months now if there's any news on the announced Turbo Midi Interface. It's been awfully quiet.

I'd love to get my samples into the MD a bit quicker, so the interface would be very welcome. When will this machine see (dutch) daylight?

Thanks!
Jasper

Surprised that nobody has brought this up yet:

http://www.elektron.se/

"Future X10" = turbo midi?

If they're selling this as an upgrade, I hope to god they found a tech in
the US. If I have to ship the bugger to Sweden again, then it will shore up
my title for "the worlds most expensive UW".

on the machinedrum UW side of things, turbomidi is already
done. i think. check out the literature that came with
your upgraded UW - iirc, it says something liek anny MD
running os 1.29 or higher can experience elektron's
turbomidi protocol. that was the gist of it, at least.

I took this to mean that OS 1.29 could make use of the turbomidi hardware
interface. The X10 thing in the picture sure looks like a MD hardware
upgrade, given that it has a little tiny LED poking through the side of the
MD - and a big old cord plugged in beneath the artistic brown optical spots.

I think that "LED" is just an artifact of the lens flare photoshop filter...
not an actual LED in the side of the MD :-)

and the cord looks like it is looping, but then going out of the picture to
the left.
