machinedrum triggers Airbase problem

machinedrum triggers Airbase problem

2006-08-24 by Martijn

Hi,

I try to trigger my Jomox Airbase with the machinedrum (machinedrum midi out to jomox midi in). But I can only trigger one sound at once. For instance if I select note c1 I can trigger the bd or note e1 the sn.

But if I want to trigger all Jomox sounds with the pads on the machinedrum I can only trigger one sound.

If I want to trigger a sound with Pad 2 (the sn) from the machinedrum I cannot trigger anything from the Jomox.

Does anybody know why this is? And if ther is a solution to this?

Regards,

Martijn

hi Martijn,
try go to global >midi map editor on your MD and you can select track
group or any specific pattern to set up your midi map assignments.

this may not be what your asking.. to trigger more sounds on a
specific step of a midi machine track one must first choose the midi
machine that corresponds to the active midi channel on the airbase and
use the NOTE, N2 & N3 parameters on the synthesis page of the
machinedrum. ie. only 3 notes can be triggered simultaneously on each
step using parameter locks. im not sure how many voices the airbase
has but the x-base is 3 maximum anyway.
