I am angry and that is why i began this thread. I would like to have the UW, but this it not longer available. I hate that. When i bought my machine there was no UW on the market and now the extension is sold out. I am so angry!!!!! I thought i would buy a machine with good company support and updates in the future. But nothing.... I hate that!!!!

Where have you been, it was available for quite some time. If you want it that bad, sell the MD and buy a MD-UW. In the meantime, calm down, life's too short! As Niall said, the upgrade offer was a one time thing only, which has been advertised all over Elektron's website for about a year now. /Janne

I am coming down! But if i would sell my machine i would receive 800� for it if i am lucky. The price for a new UW is 1550� here in Germany. 750� is really to much for me. I could buy a second MM for that money. I spend 1700� for the MM SFX-6 and another 1150� for the MD and then i couldn�t do the upgrade, thats why i am in this mood. Greetz from hamburg

Sell your MD and get a used UW, in Sweden at least, they sell for about 1100\ufffd. Also, I don't think you have any right to be angry at anybody other than yourself for not getting the upgrade in time. It was clearly stated, from the beginning, that the number of upgrades would be limited. Also, Elektron is the only company I have ever seen that would offer a hardware upgrade when they release a new model, at a price so low they probably didn't make any profit on it. Do other synth manufacturers give you a upgrade option when they release the next generation hardware? No. Car manufacturers? No. Most other hardware manufacturers? No. Just my 2... /Patrik
