machinedrum - yay!

Just got the machinedrum... wow! I will be busy this afternoon... this week, month... It's built like it's ready to last for about 100 years, very heavy duty. The only thing I noticed was the data entry knobs were hard to turn (mostly the bottom four) , and they wouldn't 'push in' to accelerate the data entry... I had to actually take the knobs off and put them back on so they weren't so tight on the shaft. Maybe a lip on the machinedrum case would make things better? That way the knob couldn't get so far down the shaft of the potentiometer, which would allow it to push in and not rub the case. Of course the sound makes up for all that! If you were a little worried like I was after seeing how noisy the SID station was, DON'T BE! The sound quality is awesome. Now it's time to see what gets sold to pay for the credit card bill :) cheers ripe
