Second that.
When I bought the UW, I thought it would be great to be able to put my
own samples in there. The RAM-machines, I thought I wouldn't use much,
but that it could be fun to have sometime...
Now, about one year later, I still have just a few of my own samples in
there, but man do I use the RAM machines! I have used them for
everything from resampling a single machine to be able to retrigg it,
through resampling the MD or another loop from Live to process/mess it
up, to actually using ram machines to tidy up the timing of an recorded
electrig guitar playing powerchords. I have used them for strange delay
effects on vocals, or to get looping vocals really quick and easy (you
know, "this is house, house, house, house, house...")
RAM machines ROCK!
