Using Machinedrum as the master clock to sync to Logic 8??

Using Machinedrum as the master clock to sync to Logic 8??

2008-02-05 by thephonographeffect

Hi guys

I am having trouble syncing machinedrum to logic using logics midi clock, so i decided to
use machinedrum as the master as it advises in the manual. I just cant work out how to do it.
I have an mt4 midi interface using a mac g5 and a mackie onyx soundcard. Can anyone help
who has had this problem before.

Thanks Matt

I have same set up, mt4 and machinedrum and it works fine for me, Have you got machinedrum set to Master so it sends sync out and logic set as slave.

in Logic, go to.....

settings, (top left corner) Synchronization, sync mode.... tick 'auto enable external sync,

should work fine

Hi Matt - if you want latency-free, ultra-tight, jitter-free external
Midi Clock sync using the Mac (or a PC) as Master - there will be a
simple way very soon...:)
