Elektron Musical Instruments

so, my friend recently got a MDUW MKII and he loves it aside from the issues he's having w/it 
freezing then on restart all the kits/patterns are back to the factory presets. double tripple 
ouch!

anyone else have this problem? it seems he's not alone with this as it's cropped up on the 
forum.

this has never happened to me on my MKI MD UW though i did have an issue when loading 
my backed up kit's from the computer into the MD and some of the sysex must have gotten 
corrupted because some of my kit's were a little uh.. mangled.

the scary thing is.. what if a live set was lost just before a show?  that would be the ultimate 
drag. i guess i'm a little bewildered.  if this is a common issue then it's a MAJOR bug and 
something elektron should jump on.

Send an email to elektron support describing the fenomenon. They are 
usually really good at fixing reported bugs fast!

Yeah, I think it's obvious something is wrong and he needs to contact
Elektron asap.  They'll sort him out.

yeah.. that's what i told him too. i think he fired off a couple
emails to them. it seems this bug has been in the air for a little
while though (the post on the users forum was posted almost 7 days
ago) so hopefully they are already aware of it and sorting it out.
