Sticks & Stones
Elektron SPS1-UW Sysex and Samples

http://tarekith.com/assets/SticksAndStones.zip

This is a collection of 16 system exclusive (sysex) files for the
Elektron Machinedrum User Wave, representing some of the patterns I
have created exclusively on the SPS1-UW over the last few years. In
addition, I have also created 24bit/44.1kHz wav file audio loops of
the patterns, for those people that do not have an Elektron
Machinedrum. All audio loops are 107 BPM, and prewarped for use in
Ableton Live. Here's a few previews of what's in this collection:

PREVIEWS

Short 128kbps MP3 previews of all of the Patterns in this package.
Each MP3 is 4 bars long.

MACHINEDRUM SYSEX

This folder contains the data provided exclusively for the Elektron
Machinedrum MKI and MKII. In addition to separate sysex files for each
individual pattern and it's associated kit, you will also find a file
that contains all 16 patterns and kits configured to load into pattern
locations A01-A16, and kits 1-16 by default. You can of course change
the install location of this data prior to loading it in you
Machinedrum by changing the load options from "orig" to "spec" and
choosing the starting pattern and kit location for the data to load
into. Consult your Machinedrum manual for more information. While this
sysex will load in the non-UW versions of the SPS1, I have used the
ROM machines extensively in all of these patterns, so I'm not sure how
well the patterns will translate.

MACHINEDRUM SAMPLES

This folder is where you will find all of the individual drum and
instrument samples that need to be loaded into the SPS1-UW ROM memory
before you can play the patterns. They are labelled 01 - 29 and need
to be loaded into the Machinedrum in this order to function correctly.
To do this, I recommend using the C6 application available here:

MACHINEDRUM LOOPS

This is a collection of audio loops created from the 16 Patterns
listed above. All Loops are 24/44.1 wav files at 107 BPM, as this is
the tempo I mostly used when writing them.

All sounds and sysex in this collection are yours to use, for either
commercial or private use as you choose. If you do use something from
this collection and it gets signed, I'd love to hear about it though,
so please contact me via the information provided below.

Hope you enjoy, let me know if you have any comments or issues.
