I have to agree with splank! about the 'mute' popup screen... I wish
we had the option to keep it from appearing...

also, it would be great if we had the choice to have the edit
knobs 'push button' function reversed, so the values would scroll in
bigger jumps without pushing the knob in, and would increment in
single values when the knob was pushed in.

Also, these changes should be left as global options, so you can
choose the way you like to work: turning off the mute popup, or
reversing the knob push function.

cheers

pushing the buttons...

As far as mute is concerned, I can agree. I don't feel it's a big pain
because it's so easy to switch it on and off, but well.
In the other hand, i don't agree at all with the push button thing.
It's working real fine the way it is made now, considering you will
swith something fast when you're tweaking like a fat sweating pig
feeling the power of the beat and shit you will naturally push the
button down, it's not like you have to switch a gear to speed up the
tweaking, you just have to push the button. Personnally I instictively
push the button and release it to make pointier settings. I would find
it far less intuitive if it were to be the other way.
My thought.

I had a funny experience yesterday;;; I was planning to use the SID in a
production I'm working on and brought it to a friend's studio... trying to
induce him with the lovely boxe sound. Then we hook it into his setup and
start playing with it. But very soon, the SID starts to go blank every so
often. It took me a while to actually notice it was cubase sending a
panic/reset message which actually makes the SID reboot instead of stopping.
I really thought it was dead but ticking a little box in cubase did fix the
thing.

I just thought I would share because it was really surprising behaviour.

Daniel, maybe you guys could do something less Xtreme when recieving a
reset....

Cheers,
M-.-n
