I just have it for a few days, but I can tell you that is great for
anything. Im makin break based music too(dnb, breakbeat, hip-hop) and I
couldnt be happier. This is a synth! So the point here is innovating and
gettin new rythms.
Get it!

anyone ever watched the TV show "Sifl and Ollie" ?

I feel like saying,

"yup, I could be used there."

"mmm...you could use me there."

yes, new sequencer really quite interesting offset and len parameters
offer a lot of room for creativity.

The sound is quite flexible, the effects are quite stunning. I'm
quite fond of the delay in particular. the button squish is
excellent. maybe for the next run, the knobs could be a little
larger, and spaced out a little farther apart. a dedicated mute
button would be useful, too. loading/saving/switching kits goes
extremely quickly, too.

the delay, kick drum and snares are quite amenable to dub music

Are you referring to "Tweakend"? I'm surprised that MD was available early
enough for them to use it on that album -- perhaps a really early beta
version?

No it was one they started mixing before Tweekend was released. They said
they had like a few extra tracks and while working on it while touring
tweekend. I'll try and find the magazine and see if they list it
anywhere.
Also I see the the Chemical Brothers are also using one and Future Music
magazine has it for a canidate for gear of the year. Good work Elektron.
