Another faulty pot

Lo all. My machine has developed another faulty pot, this time the E knob. Has anyone else had problems with more than 1 pot going?. Seems to be developing into a habbit for my MD :( Im not too fussed because the Elektron service is great its just I dont want to be sending it back every 3 months. I wander what might be causing it, dirt?, dust? or just bad connections.
