Hmm .. Doing single dco sounds is ok though .. And if it is not programmed
in the sidstation fashion but rather as a real synth then it can produce
some really neat sounds .. I still haven\ufffdt had the time to explore the
wavetable function yet .. so maybe I should keep the sid for a while longer =)

  i'm sure people will tell ya, the wavetable is the coolest thing on the 
sid, along with the filter, of course. i was guite amazed how novel it is. 
and i f you're worried about independent volumes for the 3 dco's, use the 
env. sustain level.

  in a different topic, can anyone tell me if there is a win95 software 
editor/sequencer that can simultaneously extract the sid's voices, as to 
create .sid type songs, with a lead lines going over other melodies for 
instance.

any help would be awesome.
