Ditch Cubase... or combine it with one of Steinberg's midi interfaces 
with those fashionable "timing" features.
I use Logic with 2 Unitor 8's and timing is as tight as midi can get 
(which is not perfect, but fine).

The MD's timing is really good. Both when triggering notes via midi, or 
when using its internal sequencer, timing is tight. I guess they use 
very fast processors, and their OS etc is well written.

Yeah, i also got some synths that have lousy midi timing. Don't worry 
about the MD though. Elektron got it right!
