Elektron Musical Instruments

I'm using Sysex Librarian 1.02 under Mac OS X with a MOTU MTPAV USB
interface.

I'm trying to do a complete sysex backup of my MD, and it seems that the
file transfer always has errors...There is no MIDI clock or sync being
transmitted to the MD during the backup, so I know that isn't the problem...

Has anyone had luck using this combination yet?

Should I try the backup in my sequencer under OS 9 instead?

i have had problems doing sysex in cubase and standalone in OS9.......havent
had a proper dump sent back to me yet....others on the list have no
problems....my MD is heading back to sweden tomorrow for repairs, hopefully
yours is not a MD problem, sorry i can't help you out more than that. i dont
get errors, just kits back that arent what i sent......

I¹m hoping to make SYSEX backups of my stuff just in case I have any kind of
weird crash...Indeed, my unit came out around the time that there were
³problems² with a lot of the current production runs.  Hopefully I won¹t
have to send this back.  Perhaps I¹ll try smaller SYSEX dumps in OS 9 ­ just
kits, just patterns, etc., instead of doing a complete dump.

I use Syses Librian 1.02 as well, but using the Edirol UM-1 interface with my 
machinedrum. Everything works fine for me. It could be that the MOTU OS X 
drivers are buggy. Try checking around on th internet to see if this is the case.
