HOWEVER!!!!!!
You can have different volumes, decay, pitch or any
parameter for EACH individual step, so it's no big
deal achieving more "human" like feel for your
sequences

Yeah... but i am very much used to play "live", instead of programming ...
Keyboard...
Maybe i should get a Akai MPD16... or even better a Roland SPD-20.
Bigger electronic drum controllers would be quickly out of possibilities.

Hi Moreno

The MD is unsurpassed on the fun side. Buy it!
You don't need to adjust the separate parameters individually, just
put the machine in real time record and knob movements will be
recorded as individual step parameters. With 24 parameters for each
sound, you can totally transform a sound into another.... we're
planning on releasing an MD-only album. :)

Regards,
Nils

Hi Nils, =; )
I am in the process in buying one...
But that's a pitty to not be able to trigger live with pressure and velocity
sensibility...

Who we??? (For the MD album)

That's my cousin and I (currently called Valve, but I think someone
has recorded under that name before...)
sorry for the confusion. :)

Nils

Hi Gert

I won't! Promise! ;-)

btw, I checked out your website a couple of weeks ago - really nice
quality site! It's obvious you've put a lot of work in it. :)
Keep up the good work!

Regards,
Nils

Once upon a time, RENGA Moreno wrote:

If its absolutely necessary, just bring along an Oxygen 8 or other
inexpensive controller that supports pressure sensitivity, and trigger
the pads from there. In fact, with the Oxygen, you'll even have 8
extra knobs you can use, too. As far as I can remember, MachineDrum
still responds to pressure sensitivity (mapped to volume) this way. I
have done this using my Nord Lead 3 in the past.

I think that once you start using the MachineDrum you will realize
that it is not really necessary for it to have pressure sensitive pads
since the control you have over each track is amazing. Not to mention,
you could always map the LFO of a track to its amplitude or any of its
other parameters to vary the sound over time...
