Elektron Musical Instruments

I have my MD OUT to my Virus IN.  I want the MD to only send notes. 
Right now some MD knobs will change Virus parameters.

Also is the MD not able to live record in the Midi machines with an
external keyboard?  And if this is possible how do I prevent the MD
from being changed by an external keyboard (Virus).

Set the base channel of MD outside the range of The Virus. I think 
the Virus is 8 part multi so put the base channel of the MD to 
9,10,11,12 (i useses 4 ch)

Thanks!  I thought they had to be the same!  The Virus has 16, but I 
only use 4 usually.

I'm gonna contact Elektron about this.  Also the idea about 
the "smart" controls like in soft-synths and the smart knobs that 
auto assign CC# when you turn them,  and the idea about pushing the 
knob is great.  We'll see.

The Virus has 16

Tested again but not possible,grr.

Yes that would be great auto assign knobs !!! and a better distortion 
(not that one on the TRX bd2 it'z oke)
