Elektron Musical Instruments

Hi everyone,
I'm back with another track that I'm working on.  If you are interested in 
listening and giving some honest criticism I would really appreciated it.

The new track is "At The Same Time."

notes:
Vocals will be re-recorded for better fidelity, but  performed with the same 
spirit.
Synth cello will be replaced by a real cellist.
Mix is rough but close.

I've listened to both tracks, really great!

I'd like "At the same time" to have a more "pumping" end...
I can't explain this much better, hope you have understood :-)

Anyway, top class!

Nice tracks with cool harmonies.
I think they?re good like they are. 

About "at the same time": 
Making it somehow stronger 
in the end would make it too pathetic for my taste.
But if you want to go for the charts of course.... :)
by the way:
?Is it possible? that you listened a lot to Massive Attack ?

Reminds me (pleasantly) of Snowpony.
Dig the "psychedelic" panned-telephone-echo vocals.  wish for more.
Bass a little conservative, but probably very balanced.
I say, keep it up!

Well, when I said "pumping" I didn't mean that stronger :-)
I should have said "driving".
Anyway, it's really good as it is now.

If it's close yes, if not, keep this one, it feels right.

Sure!
the main concern on the track is the cello is it's definetly a keyboard
solo, not a string way to play things. Some developement on cello/strings
would be beneficial for the whole track.

Drums are a bit too dry and present sometimes, btw we're on MP3 and I'm not
on my monitoring rigŠ

I saw a comment on the bass, not sure it'll give more impact if you push it
more. For this mix the overall balance is right.

The song is great already!

Now hi everybody (first post here)Š I'm not a MD/SID owner, just lurking for
3 days now. I made the french translation of the MD manual last spring for
the french importer and maybe one day I'll have one myself to push in it the
few things really fun that are hidden in the depth of the programming.

Meanwhile, I'm an analogue freak with crazy digital things too

Hey!

A bit late perhaps, but I really wanted to comment on your track At the same
time. Very very very good!
Nice melodies, nice harmonics. The start is really exciting. A few things:
- drums are a bit too dry. On the other hand, I'd not like reverb or
something. perhaps a tiny touch of ambience?
- maybe some more SRR on the snare?

Reminds me of Sigur Ros without the guitars. Excellent work!! So nice to see
' amateur'  music that's that brillant!
