Elektron Vs Ampfea

Elektron Vs Ampfea

2003-06-10 by M-.-n

Hey M@.

I actually am the moderator ; although I think list has been setup
originally by Elektron themselves they did not want to moderate the list as
they want ppl to feel free to whine if needed (which does not happen a lot ;
we're more in a kind of worship situation here ;) and they'd like it to be
focused on elektron product and not go too much out of topic. I personally
have no problem with moving the list to ampfea knowing how good the spirit
of all of it is but we certainly need to ask the list's users *and* elektron
if we ever think of shifting it.

I can ask them if u'd like.

They still must have had their ears "whistling" these last months anyway ;)

I've used ampfea only once, it was for the Nord Modular list I think and
temporarily, no peculiar memoriesŠ

Just have had a lookŠ it has moved quite a bit :)

I don't like Yahoo so it won't bother me. And I like a .org MUCH MORE ;)))

So how do we organize the official "yahoo must die" move?

As we are on yahoo, we can set up a little official poll on the yahoo page?

No? ;)

And we set a date for the end of it.

I suppose the members should be given a chance to state their opinion. I,
for one, think Ampfea is cool, so no problem.

Triggering: 3 questions

2003-06-10 by Matt Picone

Besides unplugging the midi cable, is there an easy way to tell the
MachineDrum to stop sending NOTE ON and OFF messages downstream?

Can I use a midi machine to send such messages but have no other tracks
do so?

How do I make different tracks send to different midi channels?

I'm thinking about the track mute feature and wondering if I missed a
"midi mute" page somewhere.

Thanks,

-M@

There are 16 midi machines and this number corresponds to the midi
channel. Use the mute page for this muting you want, it works. You
might want to go to the midi mapping page and turn all the mapping to
"--", if you haven't done so. I hope this answers your questions.
