Nice one.  Is that wood? I assume.  I plan on doing something like
that with my ms2000r.  Now i see how you can do it with the MD.  That
angle  would really help.

I have been planning on doing this for a long time... (see msg. 3655) 
but I would prefer brushed aluminum legs ;)  I have been considering 
drawing a pair up in CAD and having a machine shop make a pair, but 
maybe I should just make them myself out of wood?  More details on 
the legs in the photo, please?

Now, what I'd really like to see is a pair of hexagonal finger-pads 
that attach to the right leg, and sit at the upper right hand corner 
of the MD.  I bought a Casio SK-5 to cannibalize the pads off of 
(just the rubber - I don't think the switch underneath is piezo-
based), but it has since been earmarked for bending...

Actually it is quite nice, i already sent it to elektron, maybe they

It would surely look better in aluminium like ... erm ... Indigo :) 
hheheh , so blue leds and stufff. ... the thing is , i can cut wood 
at home, and the wood was black ... so ! :) i done it in a couple of 
hours and believe me it is worth the pain, cause it is more usable 
in the sitting position =)

Black.  Definately black, dude.  

I get uncoiled and strumped everytime I see the Indigo
2 in black and demon-eye red.  Hellish succubii
couldn't release them both at the same time so I could
satisfy my gear lust with a choice.  They knew I'd
fawn over it.  Kinda like your girl friend as a
red-head and a blonde - same sounds, features and
basic equipment but one raises the pulse a little
higher with just the first glimpse, touch, response...

Anyone know a good brand of spray paint?

Cool, I did something similar with a small cardboard box to give it 
that slanty look, not quite the same but its free ;)
