Well, it took me a couple of hours :) 
i had the wood and the saw :) so ...

Glad you like them , it sure makes it more confortable to use you 
know, cause you can actually see the lcd =)

That is great idea, and done elegantly! Using the rack ear mounts to
put a table stand on the MD is exactly the kind of thing I'd like to
do. 

Did you run into any problems doing it? Any advice for someone else who
wants to try it? What size screws? Did you add a strain relief for the
power supply cable (some of us keep unplugging it when we get excited
:)

i think it's a great idea!  but personally, i usually use my MD as a
standalone unit. so i can typically be found leaning back in my
computer chair with my legs propped up and the MD in my lap, tweaking
away....

either way, it looks beautiful and it's a great idea. you should start
making them to sell in this group; i'll bet a lot of people would get
great use out of it.
