Machinedrum with V-synth?

Machinedrum with V-synth?

2003-09-22 by ralescu

I am about to go experimenting using my machinedrum with the V-synth, and was
wondering if anybody has expedrience with this. I'm a new machinedrum owner, and
have not used the sequencer to control outboard gear yet, so this will be my first
foray.

Joe (chiasticon), if the offer still stand, maybe I can drive up to kent and get a few
pointers from you?

It's real simple. Watch your global midi map. If you connect to
the V and hear the V when you press the MD buttons, you may want to
turn off the midi maps in the global menu. Otherwise MIDI machine 1
is for midi channel 1 etc. Real simple. Oh yea, you also want to
change the MD global channels to 13-16. This will clear up any
confusion with other gear.
