MD Input machine

MD Input machine

2003-09-29 by ralescu

Hello,

I'm having a problem with the Inputs on my MD. For some reason, when it opens the
gate on the on the INP-GA and GB, it also triggers a note. I've re-read the
documentation but can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Stephan

What kind of "note" do you mean?

I'm sorry for not being clear - I meant a note on the synth that is connected to it, in
this case a MicroModular. I have the midi out of the MD connected to the midi in on
the Micro and the audio out of the micro into the audio inputs of the MD.

Check and see if your mM is listening on the same MIDI channel as the MD
is transmitting *its* MIDI data (which you can change in the global menu).
It sounds like the MIDI channel corresponding to whatever track the
input machine is also the same track that your mM is listening on.

really? the mM wasn't in the MD's range of channels? that is weird that
the problem went away that way, though.

I chekced and both were on different channels, but I switched the channel on the mM
and the problem went away. Weird.

Thanks,

Stephan
