Keylock?

Keylock?

2003-11-14 by damon

Ok, so I'm sitting here with the monomachine and thinking: how cool
would it be, now that we have a keyboard here, to be able to hit
kit+record or some such, and then be able to lock params to individual
note values?

Man, my brain's still moving on this.

The UI is already there! Hold down the key, and it shows the key in
the display just like when holding down a step. And, of course, it
would show you what the parameter locks for that note are for that
track with the inversion method we're all to familiar with.

Any key with a parameter lock on it could even be lit up with the LEDs
above the keys while in edit mode.

Man, imagine how crazy that would be for the beat box? Or how about
for the VO-6? How about when triggering the monomachine from external
gear? Or when using the monomachine as an effects unit and improving
tweaks on the inbound signal path? This would be just wicked!

In addition, function+record is a stupid, stupid idea... damn these
late nights. Perhaps the track's button + record!

Machinedrum repairs, please help

2003-11-16 by :'(

Hey, I was just using my MD, when for some reason, the very last keypad (16
M4) just popped out of place. There is a gold ball bearing a spring and the
plastic pad, does the ball bearing go above or below the spring? And has
anyone else had this happen? Thanks

rajcoont

That sucks! Contact Elektron support (support@...), their techs
are extremely helpful and are usually pretty prompt with email. If you
live far from Sweden, I would recommend asking if its possible to fix it
yourself.

Good luck!
Joe
