hi

ok, this is all very new for me. i have no idea how midi works,
but i have a monomachine, mac os X 10.2 and a midi-interface (this on: http://
www.netzmarkt.de/thomann/artikel-160182.html)

and i found this instructions:

Andy,

> It's really easy.
> Download a program called SysEx Librarian
> (search google or the archives for the link).
> Download the MM OS update.

ok.

> Plug in your MIDI interface so that the computer is sending OUT to the MM's in.

in my case this means usb to mac, midi out and midi in to mm?

> Launch SysEx Librarian and open up the OS update.
> Go into the SysEx Librarian preferences and change the
>"Pause between played messages" to 250 msec and close preferences.

ok.

> Select your midi device in the drop down menu in the window.

? what should i do in "audio midi setup"? do i need to configurate anything? the midi-
interface is shown there but not the mm.
... ...

> Turn on the MM while holding down function and select option 5 (midi upgrade).
> Press play on SysEx Librarian. Watch the sequencer lights light up.

i tried severel settings, but on the mm happened anything. no lights, just "ready to
receive midi upgrade" on the screen. but, strange for me, SysEx Librarian did as if it
would transfer data (and needed a very long time). and, by the way, which file is the
right one: the .syx or the .midi -file. or both?

> It's that easy!

haha.

> Chances are it might fail the first time you try (it usually does for me).
> Just turn the MM off and start over.

are 20 times enouth?

please help me!!! i have os 0.90 on my mm! ensemble and all the new stuff, i wanna
have it!!

greetings. markus.
