some new MD + MnM songs

2004-01-06 by Joe

The following are some recent songs I did. All of them feature the
MnM and MD heavily. The songs, in order from my most to least
favorite, are:
http://www.cs.kent.edu/~jmelnyk/music/pretty_much_written_off.mp3
http://www.cs.kent.edu/~jmelnyk/music/your_name_means_you_cant_act_this_way.mp3
http://www.cs.kent.edu/~jmelnyk/music/mercy_rule.mp3

And note that there's some particularly low-frequency stuff in these
that seems to get lost on computer speakers.

Your comments (good and bad) are appreciated!

Joe.

They're all great to me! Although, to be honest, I
like them on the reverse order. The last one is my
favorite. Very cool. Thanks for posting them.

Excellent! Thanks for your comments; I'm glad that somebody was able
to enjoy them! And feel free to enjoy them in whatever order you wish :-)

Joe.

Sounds good, my slow dial-up connection prevented me from listening
to all of them completely but I liked what I heard! :)

Just re-listening to those tracks you posted and want to let you know
how much I like "Mercy Rule", that's a really nice mellow song, I dig it.

The weirdest thing is how that track syncs up PERFECTLY with this
mechanical noise coming out of the air conditioner in my office! At first
I thought it was in the track, but it's the A/C! It sounds beautiful! I wish
I had a MiniDisc recorder, I'd sample it and send you a loop of my A/C
straight away, cuz it fits the track wonderfully. Even without the A/C,
it's still a great tune though.

ahhh....but natural mechanical accompaniment is also a good thing. :-)
