RE: [elektron] MD vs 909

RE: [elektron] MD vs 909

I don t at all want to use the MD as a 909! I just made that comparison
because i was asked to.
(why would i want a 909 emulation if i ve got a 909 anyway?)

The MD is the one and only MD, just like the 909 is the one and only 909.
but what s wrong with comparing 2 drummachines? Can t we compare ferrari's
to lamborghini's because they re different cars?

Hello

Stop trying to compare a 909 and a Machinedrum : they are different !!!! The
909 is not better than Machinedrum and a Machinedrum is not better than a
909 or other drum machine....

The Machinedrum is not a 909 emulation, so if you like and want 909 sound,
buy a 909

In my opinion the MD sounds kills the 909 ( i sold the 909)The 909's
sounds are from 1995. The sampler is the only feature that the MD
cant beat cause it dont got one. Id rather have the MD and Boss 303
as a combo and have all that money left over. As comparing to cars
the MD is to a Ferrari as a 909 is to a station wagon.

I've got the machinedrum paired up with the new Korg
electribe sx and I am very happy with the beats that I
am able to obtain with these two. :) My next test will
be when I have the MD, MM, electribe SX and the
electribe MX :) Also my other synths in there too!
