Elektron Musical Instruments

Ok.  I blew a fuse in my MnM last night.  I'm in the US so I'm using
the 115V setting.  The fuse that blew was 125mA/250V.  According to
the manual, this is the wrong fuse anyway (but two of them came with
the MnM).  So what do I want?  There are three different listings for this:
1) 250mA; no voltage listed (source = MnM beta manual)
2) 250mA/125V (source = MnM official manual)
3) 250mA/250V (source = back of the MnM itself)

I was told that the voltage doesn't matter much, just the amperage.
So will the 250mA/250V fuses I bought work alright?  And if so, which
of the above sources is wrong?

How come the table top version doesn't use a fuse? 

What's the fuse for?

the PSU.  since the tabletop doesn't have an internal PSU, it
doesn't need a fuse. :-)

Voltage don't matter at all in a fuse (at current "low" voltages at 
least, I'm no higher voltage specialist to tell for other situations), 
fuse work on the intensity passing by (here if the intensity goes 
higher than 250 mA the circuit should be cut), so fuses are rated for 
110 and 220V as 115V or 240-250V but it's the same f…g fuse.

So all figures are right… ;)
they are only country dependant… (1) is for world, 2) is for the US 
minded manual 3) is for the rest of the world) as you're more prone to 
find a 115V rated fuse in the USA than in Europe, but it's the marking 
only. Fuses in Europe are rated for both 115V and 250V or 250V only. In 
the USA you'll find fuses rated for 115 or 115/250V.

Your fuse is ok :)
