Mono: Song Pointer Position

In my current setup Reason is synced to the Mono. But I've no real experience with this. Is it straightforward that a loop or a repeat in the song sequencer doesn't sends the pointer position to Reason? What I want is that my Reason pattern should be repeated also. Any suggestions? Also, if I choose for example row 003 in the song sequencer and starts playing from there, shouldn't Reason jump to the equivalent time mark then? I want it to do that, but I can't manage it.
