sequencer would be cool of it also had some cv outputs.

Never tried a sampler. But a really good hardware sequencer would be
  my dream!

Guys, there are so many hardware sequencers around.

Step Sequencers:
just check http://www.doepfer.de
http://www.s-n-d.com/sam16.html

If you want more complex sequencing,
try the Akai MPC series.

But what is missing is a sophisticated combination
of a sampler and sequencer.
There are only very few modern gooveboxes that
go this way.
For example the Akai MPC series and the Korg Electribe S.
But what they go for is more "classic" sequencing.
And no freaked out possibilities of modulating
samples combined with the sequencing.

Also not enough possibilities of changing the samples
in a different way than the samplers did in the last 10 years.

Hello,

Check this one.

It's a Sequencer, Synth and FilterBank.

It will be available in April.

http://www.sequencer.de/moogulatorium/radikal_spectralis.html

...48 voices sampling, 2 smart card slots to load your samples...

Joerg Schaaf from Radikal Technologies Germany GmbH said :
"Each track can be configured as a internal or MIDI track.
The step-Sequencer can send controller automation and notes to your external gear."

The price will be around 2000 euros.

A+

Pierre.

exactly, like taking a wave sample and turning it into
a totaly different sound all together. Wave shapping
and morphing. U can record any sound and turn it into
something totaly different just by using Lfos and mod
sequencing.

There are a couple of hardware sequencers that seem quite complex
coming out. The zeit and phaedrus (http://www.infectionmusic.com/),
and also the genotron (http://www.grexultra.com/).

Actually, the forthcoming Spectralis, by Radikal Technologies sounds
pretty interesting, and I think is supposed to have a very evolved
sequencer. Not sure whether it actually samples, or whether you have
to load your own...
