i'm finally getting ready to pick up a Mono. are you guys finding the keys and stick worth
the extra $600? i've got a halfway decent MIDI controller already. can't wait to get my
hands on these boxes.

I am. I use them all the time and wouldn't want to play my MnM live
without them
there. plus it looks cooler!

The keyboard version is the best of the two because it
is so easy to use and program. It even tells you what
notes are being played, how freakin cool is that!
Sometimes I think mine programs itself and plays
itself when I am not around, hehe! :)

thanks for the replys. i'm actually getting a chance to demo both units hands-on next
week so i'll have a better idea. incase anyone didn't realize Elektron has "sales reps" all
over the world that can help you out and let you try out gear. from what i can see these
are just owners of the synths generous enough to have strangers in their homes. pretty
cool, and they probably get a little kick back from Elektron.

that's exactly what they are (with some additional requirements). so
you're fortunate
to have someone in your area that actually has an SFX-6 and an SFX-60,
given that
they still have to pay for these units (they're not free demo units or
anything).

though really, one can quite easily tell what it's like to not have the
keyboard and
joystick by just ignoring them on the SFX-6!
