I see it more and more often that people with lots of money and lots of hardware synths produce less more and what they make sounds most of the time like shit. 
too bad for the hardware..

actually, I've seen this more often with software (probably just 
because it's
cheaper and therefore more people have it). the old "hit record, then 
randomly
press buttons and turn knobs" thing seems to happen a lot with software 
and
new users.  at least with hardware you have to be more methodical and
analytical of what you're doing, because it usually takes more time to 
do it!

at least, that's my perspective. :-)

Ja ever think that they are busy with side projects and the like, sure nin
made them famous but that¹s not there only project in life I bet. Trent's
got a label to run, although the sites dead and I don¹t think much has been
released lately ;)

heh perhaps he earned himself some good R and R,  personally if i had the 
money and success that he had i'd do the same thing. Call me lazy. :D

    not sure if he ever used the SID or MD in his recent tracks, if anyone 
knows plz tell.
