the exact thing happened to me a month ago. I daisy chained the SID to my 
korg MS2000 and selected a patch higher than the SID's, and caused it to go 
insane then produce no sounds, and crash when i selected the PATCH menu. The 
solution is simple, you'll need to reload the Flash Memory OS, and do a complete 
sound bank installation again through SysEX messaging. You can ask Elektron for 
the latest OS, or simply ask me for it, since i just had this problem. After 
the OS is back up, you can reload the patches, any info u prior to the crash is 
obviously lost.
